Coach
Name: Bronda Barron
Hometown: Troy, Ala.
Fourth year as TROY majorette coach
Background: As an alumna herself, Bronda serves as current majorette coach, past dance team coach and the Director of Annual Giving in the Department of Development at TROY. She also holds a bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University. Ms. Barron has over twenty years of twirling experience, including four years marching with the “Sound of the South”. She designed and taught choreography for dancers and twirlers for talent competitions, beauty pageants and marching competitions. She also has judged many high schools and college majorette auditions. She teaches baton lessons to girls ranging from age six to thirteen; teaching fundamentals and group routines for local performances. Bronda resides in Troy with her husband Lavonne and their two daughters, Carrley and Cailyn.
